I have the cutest little corner in my apartment right next to the fireplace. Since I moved-in back in February, I've been trying to decide what I wanted to do with it. I originally had a bistro table with a couple of chairs and was envisioning a cute dining nook. Sat there *maybe* two times to put shoes on, and never once to eat! Luckily, because I wasn't totally sold on the dining nook concept, I had the wherewithal to order pieces that could be both indoor or outdoor. So, out to the patio they went for extra seating; I have a small storage unit on the patio that fits the table and both chairs, so it's perfect!
I was always someone who loved studying/working at a proper desk and decided that the corner would make the perfect office nook! I went about browsing Pinterest for all the office inspo (check my mood board here) and started ordering away. Luckily all my orders for the office nook we're delivered in a snap (unlike some of my other furniture/decor that took FOREVER. Nothing worse than waiting for cute furniture you're dying to see in a room!). Still looking for the perfect piece to hang above the desk, so in the meantime my lips print that usually sits on my dresser is standing in! It's a bit small for the wall, but it'll do for now!
I couldn't be happier with the set-up and have loved working/blogging from the little nook. Though I'm in no way wishing Summer away, I'm quite excited to work next to a cozy fire come Fall/Winter!
