The 'it' color for this fall is purple! Purple has always been my favorite, even my college color was purple (Go Tommies!), so I'm happy to see it getting the recognition it deserves. From lavender to orchid to the more jewel toned shades, purple is going to be featured all over the runways this season!
While I love a good monochromatic look with the shade (à la Balenciaga and Jacquemus), for those looking for a less bold statement, purple can be easily worked into an outfit with gorgeous blouses, chic accessories, or fun shoes! Unlike say yellow or green, purple looks good on every skintone and hair color, it’s just a matter of identifying your shade!
I’m so excited to rock some of the pieces I listed below for Fall. I’m having a major moment with silky fabrics. They just look luxurious and make an outfit instantly chic. I love the idea of pairing a silk slip with a cool boot, or a silk skirt with a band tee or chunky sweater. A study in opposites!
