I'm a bit of a sunglasses addict, which is a trait I inherited from my mom (shout-out Becks! Love ya!) I don't care how many I have, there is always room on my dresser for one.more.pair! They're the perfect final detail to finish off any outfit (I feel as if I'll use this justification for every accessories post I do on here, but it doesn't make it any less true!) and pull it all together. I'm not shy about using a lot of color and pattern in my wardrobe, but for those less inclined to do so, a fun pair of sunglasses is the perfect way to ease yourself into it!
I've always been partial to a cat-eye. Whatever variation of it, it's my go-to and I feel it's the shape that best flatters my face. Though lately, I've really been loving a fun 70's-esque square shape. My mom recently surprised me (after many not so subtle hints from me) with the Oliver Peoples Marlien sunglasses as a belated birthday gift (#1 on this list below) and just wearing them around NYC I've gotten so many compliments and questions on where they're from.
