I moved to NYC in February and have spent the past few months slowly getting my cute little one-bedroom in the West Village decorated! My apartment is in a brownstone on the cutest cobblestone, tree-lined street. It faces the garden and has the most amazing patio.
When my dad and I came into the city to sign my lease, we did some furniture shopping. The vibe I was going for with the apartment was ‘bachelorette chic’. Think shades of blush, fun florals, a dash of leopard, and a more contemporary/transitional look overall.
One of my favorite parts about decorating is picking out the décor pieces that tie everything in a room together. Whether it be stacks of fabulous coffee table books, gorgeous florals, beautifully framed prints, or vintage pillows – I love it all!
The patio is pretty much my last step in getting the apartment finished and I just ordered the prettiest bistro table from One Kings Lane. I would still love to add a couple of pieces of lounge furniture to make it the perfect dining/tanning/working city oasis!
