OCTOBER READING LIST

Updated: Nov 13, 2019

September got a little crazy and the blog took a bit of a backseat, so I missed the September reading list blog post. I included a few titles I read and loved in September on the October reading list so you don't miss out!

The month's titles range from historical fiction to modern day romance to two really fabulous biographies. My three favorite from this bunch was The Senator's Children (I literally read it in one 4-hour sitting. Such a engrossing story and a major page turner), Educated (wayyyy behind the ball on reading this one. Have previously bought two copies and never read it. Third time's the charm and it was as good as I'd always heard), and All Souls (I read this in college, mainly while pretending to listen to my statistics teacher drone on. Re-reading it again and loving it. Not the most uplifting story, but excellent).

The other books were all fabulous! As you know, I'm a major fan of historical fiction and all six titles on the list were awesome! There's something so romantic and intriguing about reading stories set in a different time.

The only book left on my list to read is The Dutch House. I'm headed to Naples next week to help my parents watch my brother's dog Wyatt while he and my sister-in-law are on the honeymoon. Figure I'll save a book I'm really excited about to enjoy on the beach. I'm in desperate need of a tan and I hate the October chill in the air, so I'm beyond excited to be reading in the heat and humidity!
