The Blog Is Back!

Hello again!

I know I’ve been silent on the blog for the past handful of months, and while I desperately missed the outlet that writing Paige Goes Posh provides me, life and a global pandemic happened.

We as a nation, and as a greater world, have been experiencing everything that has gone along with the COVID-19 pandemic and the extremely important social and political issues happening. I know for some, the lockdown was seen as a “break,” a chance to slow down and refocus, but for so many it has been a very desperate and scary time. It didn’t feel right to chat about fashion, beauty, and books when many people were worried about simply getting through the week.

Along with the pandemic, life simply got in the way and took precedence over my beloved blog. At the beginning of March, I started a new part-time job as a marketing consultant for a company here in NYC. I spent exactly 3 days in the office before leaving for a pre-planned trip home to Naples to celebrate my birthday. Within days of being there, everything shut down. My entire family, along with my boyfriend, hunkered down in Naples for the next month.

While Jer left back to NYC at the beginning of April for work, I spent the next couple of months working and learning in my new job, organizing every nook and cranny of my parent’s home, perfecting my tennis game (The best aggression reliever. Living with my brothers again had me on the EDGE!), reading all the books, and re-learning French. I was determined to make quarantine productive, and productive it was! A big “thank you” to my parents and brothers for putting up with me – I was certainly not always easy and pleasant.

Things around the country have started to reopen and return to somewhat of a new “normal,” and with that I thought it was time to get back to the blog that has, for a little over a year now, brought me such joy to write. I’m so happy to be back and can’t wait to start connecting with you all again!

More to come! First up: my July Reading List! Stay tuned!

XOXO, Paige
